LEGO Ideas' Halloween contest ends in time for Christmas

LEGO Ideas' Halloween 2025 contest has come to a close in time for Christmas, revealing the grand prize winner and two bonus winners.

With 2025 drawing to a close, Halloween has long since passed and LEGO Ideas' When Midnight Strikes challenge has accordingly ended with the winner announced. It was previously confirmed that this contest would have one grand prize winner, while everyone else in the fan vote would walk away with 21361 Gizmo

The grand prize package includes 21362 Mineral Collection, 21361 Gizmo, 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine and 21359 Italian Riviera. The winner of the whole challenge has now been announced to be Midnight Curse of Clocky Willy by ElBidou.

The cursed creation is based on pirates with a two-sided model showcasing the same scene at two different points in the story. After the clock strikes midnight, the painting is ripped apart by a giant skeleton. It's a clever approach to incorporate the name of the challenge in the build.

The LEGO Ideas blog has also confirmed two additional models that will receive a bonus prize in addition to the submissions in the fan vote, since they had two more copies of 21361 Gizmo to spare at the end of the challenge. The bonus winners are When the House Awakens by Bacher and The Crawling Cemetery by Nabru?enýOšet?ovatelPasti?ák.
