LEGO Ideas recreates the internet's greatest MVP

A monochromatic LEGO Ideas project recreates the internet's greatest MVP, saviour of everyone with an intermittent connection.

Designed in a similar style to a LEGO Architecture skyline model or a cinematic diorama, Brick Dangerous' Google Chrome T-Rex Runner brings an internet icon into physical form. Anyone who's ever struggled with no internet on Google Chrome will remember being able to while away the connection-less time by playing a basic T-Rex Runner game.

On an otherwise blank Chrome tab, the T-Rex runs along a monochromatic landscape at increasing speeds. You need to make sure he avoids obstacles like cacti and rocks by pressing the space bar. It's simple, but a very effective way of getting through a period without the internet.

The LEGO Ideas project recreates that very same game in 449 pieces. Having gained 10,000 supporters on the community platform, the would-be LEGO Ideas set is now in the running to become a real-life product on shelves.
