LEGO Ideas set gets a custom revamp from a galaxy far, far away

A LEGO Ideas set that takes builders to space and back has now been reimagined as another space-based theme.

LEGO Ideas 21340 Tales of the Space Age walks you through an intergalactic road trip in its own unique way. Made out of four brick-built postcards, each one tells a different section of a space-based journey. You can display them either together as a group or individually to pick out each unique colour scheme.

While the original design by fan designer Jan Wo?nica is impressive enough, the joy of LEGO is being able to create new and creative builds. One LEGO TikTok creator has done just that.

brick.chain has created various different Star Wars-based designs that you can adapt from 21340 Tales of the Space Age. Inspired by iconic Star Wars scenes like the Battle of Hoth, Tatooine, and the destruction of the Death Star, among others, each one tells its own story from the stars, just like the official product does.

Some of the designs are already available to check out for yourself on Rebrickable: Tales of Hoth, Tales of Death Star 2, Tales of Tatooine, and Tales of Bespin. Still, taking a quick scroll through brick.chain's TikTok feed shows that there are plenty more variations where those came from.
