LEGO Ideas Ski Lodge offers a home away from snow at 10K 

It's been a busy weekend for the LEGO Ideas third 2024 review as minifigures are being offered a comfortable break in the Round House Ski Lodge.

Following in the footsteps of 10325 Alpine Lodge, 41756 Holiday Ski Slope and Café and 60366 Ski and Climbing Center, a new project has reached 10,00 supporters, passing it into the third 2024 review. ThomasTheCross' Round House Ski Lodge may conflict with the LEGO Winter Village set but the complete construction and detailed interior make this model a standout build that would easily fit into a Winter Village display, in addition to 10325 Alpine Lodge.

It's taken 11 months for the project to reach 10,000 supporters and it now stands a chance of becoming an official LEGO Ideas model, though the LEGO Group's many current ski lodge models may hinder its chances somewhat. Outside the lodge, a snow play area is covered by a balcony on the side and the lodge is located on top of a rocky hill.

Inside, minifigures can take a break from the cold weather with seating, a pizza restaurant with a kitchen and a toilet to take care of business. There's plenty of room to pose minifigures too on the decorative carpet.

It's a well-thought-out submission that deserves an equal chance of becoming a LEGO Ideas set as other projects, though we can't deny the similarities to 10325 Alpine Lodge on subject matter alone. For now, it's the third project in the third 2024 review.
