LEGO Ideas 21340 Tales of the Space Age is due to retire later this year, but you can still pick up the set from Walmart with 20% off.
Multiple LEGO sets will be retiring later this year, making them much harder to get hold of before they’re eventually out of stock altogether. Included in the line-up of models bowing out in 2024 is 21340 Tales of the Space Age, although you can still get hold of the LEGO Ideas build thanks to Walmart.
The retailer currently has copies of 21340 Tales of the Space Age available with 20% off the set, reducing its price from $49.99 to just $40. The LEGO Ideas model is a 688-piece creation based on an original idea from fan designer, Jan Woznica, and features four connectible brick-built 3D postcards.
21340 Tales of the Space Age’s scenes were inspired by 1980s Sci-Fi myths, movies, books and posters, with representations of an observatory for viewing comets and shooting stars, a moon base and lunar eclipse, a shuttle blasting through space, and a black hole. The LEGO Ideas models can be individually displayed freestanding and hanging on a wall or combined together in any order you like.
