There’s been no word from the LEGO Group to confirm that is indeed the case, but the use of the word ‘Collection’ would seem to suggest that the success of
As we’ve seen with the LEGO Botanical Collection in recent years, there’s definitely an audience out there for these kind of mindful nature-themed models, display pieces that offer their own unique construction experiences. It’s therefore not hard to imagine a whole menagerie of sets possibly emerging from The Fauna Collection, although that is of course pure speculation on our part for now.
Indeed the possibilities are endless and could include the likes of colourful tree frogs, striking insects and exotic fish of all kinds. We’ve already seen similar brick-based animal creations launch this year in the shape of 21342 The Insect Collection, 31136 Exotic Parrot and 31144 Exotic Pink Parrot, with the likes of 31150 Wild Safari Animals and 31157 Exotic Peacock arriving in just a few short weeks.
