The latest batch of LEGO Marvel rumours suggest that any hope of the theme revisiting a comic-con exclusive set may be in vain.

The prospect of a new, widely-available model of this scene may have been enticing but new LEGO Marvel rumours posit that this isn't the case.

A new list of LEGO Marvel rumours from Instagram user brick_clicker and relayed by itavixbrix state that 76291 The Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron instead depicts the first scene from that movie and not one of the last. It's still believed to cost $109.99 with 613 pieces but includes minifigures of the Avengers and Hydra forces instead of Ultron's forces.

Provided the rumours are accurate, your only hope of getting a LEGO set based on the final battle of Avengers: Age of Ultron may be by looking for the Throne of Ultron model on the secondary market. At the time of writing, the 2015 exclusive goes for around £600 on eBay and £400 on BrickLink.
The pieces from that set don't appear to be hard to find but Ultron minifigures are still relatively rare in LEGO Marvel and the rumoured summer 2024 wave isn't reported to feature any new Ultron minifigures.
