A new video featuring the LEGO minifigures of the McLaren F1 Team is now available, ahead of this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix.
The LEGO Group recently teamed up with McLaren for a series of tongue-in-cheek videos featuring minifigure versions of drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. We’ve already seen the world famous racing duo putting 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car through its paces and revealing how the drivers refuel.
Now, a third video has dropped on social media platforms, with the latest instalment arriving just in time for this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car is once again the star vehicle on show, with the LEGO Speed Champions set taking a high-speed unplanned trip through the Canadian city.
Despite the whistlestop detour and a parking ticket from a passing Mountie, a slightly-dazed Lando Norris makes it safely across the finishing line in record time, picking up a tasty treat as a reward for his expert driving skills.
Earlier today, the LEGO Group and McLaren revealed yet another collaboration in the shape a life-size recreation of 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car, with the massive model having been constructed from 175,000 pieces and now on display in Montreal.
We suspect we haven’t seen the last of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri though, so keep tuning into the adventures of the driving pair and we’ll update you if and when another video drops.
