LEGO takes over Melbourne's Myer Christmas Window for a festive display

The LEGO Group is taking part in Melbourne's Myer Christmas Window, as the festive display celebrates its 70th anniversary.

Available to view from now until January 11, 2026, the famous Myer Christmas Window in Melbourne features brick-built elements. The display was designed by Creative and Technical Director John Kerr, with 2025's window set-up marking his 32nd year with the project and the 70th year of the window display overall.

Titled ‘A Playful LEGO Christmas Story', the annual holiday display spans six windows, made up of more than 480,000 LEGO bricks. It follows the story of a child’s letter to Santa, watching it travel from a Melbourne post office to Santa’s North Pole Workshop.

Some of the builds on display include moving LEGO elves hard at work painting toys, a Wrap-O-Matic gift machine, Santa's sleigh, and various LEGO figurines attending a carol service. Inside the store, you can also take away a limited-edition Make & Take build of a Santa-inspired kangaroo.

Each year, the Myer department store decorates its window with a different theme. The LEGO Group has promoted its appearance in the window with a special video featuring Cataclaws. Click the embedded video below to see the window display in full.
