Rumours are beginning to emerge regarding at least two potential LEGO Monkie Kid sets that are reported to be arriving in early 2025.
It’s been a relatively quiet year for LEGO Monkie Kid, with only a handful of new sets released to fans, even though one of those was the massive
Instagram user fateful_lego is reporting that a pair of LEGO Monkie Kid sets could well be on the way early next year, although exact details are a little thin on the ground at this stage. The latest rumours suggest two models may be launching in January 2025, although you’ll want to take that information with a pinch of salt for now.
80065 Erlang’s Celestial Mech is said to be an 807-piece build that will be priced at $79.99. That would put the model roughly in line with 80048 The Mighty Azure Lion which launched in 2023, so we could be looking at a similar size build with possibly five or six minifigures.
Also reported to be arriving on the same date is 80066 Mythical Creature Qilin, a 791-piece set coming in at $99.99. The LEGO Monkie Kid model is also said to come with five minifigures, but there’s currently no indication as to which characters they may be.
For now, do treat all of the above rumours as pure speculation until such time as the LEGO Group officially confirms their existence.
