Dr Eggman is hyping his own set release date with an annoyingly catchy rap, introducing various brick-built creatures at the same time.
Robotnik is a man of many talents: building robots, battling Sonic, and (apparently) rapping. His fast-paced song has just debuted on the LEGO Group's socials, showing off the interactive weapon elements from his upcoming set, 76993 Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot. What's more, he also introduced a number of brick-built creatures that will join him: Neutron, Crabmeat, Chopper, Buzz Bomber, and Moto Bug. These creations don't appear to be included in the set itself, however, with Dr Eggman seemingly going rogue for his music video.
Plus, the video shows off how Dr Eggman can fire studs to counteract Sonic's speed sphere antics. The build is geared towards interactive play, with the aim of scoring direct hits on Robotnik's enormous mech to free the animals he's using to power it. See the brick-built machines in action via the embedded video below.
76993 Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot was previously spotted on the Kids Zone section of LEGO.com and will arrive as part of the full LEGO Sonic theme, priced at £57.99 / $59.99 / €64.99.
