LEGO NINJAGO Legends fan-inspired comic book revealed

The community-inspired LEGO NINJAGO Legends: Monstrosity comic has finally been revealed, featuring a treasure trove of unique artwork.

Nearly six months ago, the LEGO Group put out a call to the NINJAGO community for fan designs and story ideas to help inspire the next chapter of the LEGO NINJAGO Legends: Monstrosity story. That chapter has now been unveiled in the form of the NINJAGO Legends: The Land of Monsters comic book.

The kids' section of the official LEGO website has been updated with a link to download the comic book, which is 52 pages long, including a gallery of the original artwork which has inspired the monsters and story beats. You'll also find the array of artwork that was commissioned by popular artists for the launch of NINJAGO Legends earlier this year, now all in one place for you to peruse.

The story and script of the new comic were written by Darin Mercado, while the artwork was handled by J.B. Tapia. Stephen Segovia designed the front cover art while Nikolaj Severin. The LEGO Group has credited every fan artist whose designs inspired the comic in the first few pages.

The story itself showcases many monsters from this odd realm, following in the footsteps of the Monstrosity shorts and the multimedia campaign from earlier this year. Whether this is the end of the Monstrosity chapter of Legends or not is unclear, but the book is a great way to close 2025 for the theme. Next up is NINJAGO's 15th anniversary.
