LEGO Pick a Brick now offers an alternative to Wolfpack Beastmaster CMF

A potential alternative to the elusive Wolfpack Beastmaster minifigure included in 71048 Series 27 can now be yours, thanks to the LEGO Pick a Brick service.

Initially proving extremely elusive, the Wolfpack Beastmaster was far and away the most popular character that appeared in the recent 71048 Series 27. Some reports from collectors noted that they’d scanned tens of hundreds of boxes, with no sign of the minifigure in any one of the blind boxes.

The good news for those hoping to add the Wolfpack Beastmaster to their collections is that the LEGO Group’s Pick a Brick service is now offering a selection of parts that will allow you to assemble a similar version of the minifigure.

Head on over to the Pick a Brick site now and add a stubbly head, printed torso, grey legs and brown hood to your order and you’ll be most of the way there. It’s worth noting that none of the separate elements are an exact match for the Wolfpack Beastmaster in 71048 Series 27, so it depends how accurate you want your minifigure to be.

Of course you’ll need to add a dark brown cloak, silver sword, Wolfpack shield and companion wolf figure of your own to get an even closer match, plus swap the brown hood for the correct black version if you’re a real stickler for detail.

Although the Pick a Brick parts total only comes to £2.27, there is also a service fee and delivery cost of £9.45 on top of that price, making the alternative Wolfpack Beastmaster build more expensive than the current price for the 71048 Series 27 minifigure via BrickLink.
