LEGO will be at gamescom 2025 as an exhibitor

The LEGO Group will return to gamescom as an exhibitor in 2025 once again, having attended almost every single event since 2009.

gamescom, the world's largest trade video games event, will play host to dozens of exhibitors once again this year, now confirmed to include the LEGO Group. The trade event confirmed the toy company's presence in an Instagram post, and it's also been added to the official exhibitors' list.

The LEGO Group or TT Games has been present at almost every gamescom since the event began in 2009. Taking place between August 20 and August 24 in Cologne, Germany, there's no word yet on what the LEGO Group has planned for the event.

Last year saw not one, but two Make and Take events and panels focused on LEGO Mario Kart and LEGO 2K Drive, respectively. For those on the ground, the booths are often stacked with gaming-related LEGO sets, with last year offering a closer look at LEGO Fortnite minifigures. Earlier years have also seen trailers for upcoming LEGO video games and enormous novelty builds.

The LEGO Group's presence doesn't necessarily mean a new game announcement is on the cards, or even that anything radically new will be revealed. With LEGO Pokémon on the horizon for 2026, however, fans will be crossing their fingers for any news of the long-awaited collaboration.
