LEGO sends out unreleased 2024 minifigure part early

A revamped LEGO Fright Knights minifigure torso appears to be coming next year, with two copies of it getting sent out early in a Pick a Brick order.

In what we can only assume is a shipping mistake at Pick a Brick, an unreleased minifigure torso has been sent out to LEGO YouTuber DuckBricks, suggesting that a LEGO Fright Knights minifigure could return in 2024. The torso itself is a clear recreation of Basil the Batlord's outfit from 1997, with a reprinted design that includes diamond-shaped gold accents, as well as a different ruffle around the neck.

There's no confirmation from the LEGO Group on where or when we might expect to see this torso, but the similarities to Basil the Batlord's original outfit are certainly clear.

The torso also includes more detailed printing on the arms, with similar gold diamonds on the upper arms. In keeping with the medieval style of the LEGO Fright Knight sub-theme, the look is almost that of a court jester, with marks that mirror the fashion of slashed doublets. The red and black are Basil the Batlord's signature colours, with his helmet, shield, and other accessories also often appearing in red and black.

Check out the two torsos that DuckBricks was sent in his video via the embedded link below. Of course, take any news about the new element with a pinch of salt until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group.
