LEGO Icons 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger is the third brick-built Springfield location we’ve had to date, but where might fans visit next?
Hey, hey, kids! 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger was officially revealed this week, with the 1,635-piece LEGO Icons set due to launch next month. Only the third large-scale model of a Springfield building released to date, the choice of location is one fans can finally now tick off their bucket lists.
So far, the LEGO Group has given us 71006 The Simpsons House and 71016 Kwik-E-Mart, with 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger completing a trilogy of sets spinning out of the long-running sitcom series. However, there are plenty more animated locations that have been glimpsed on The Simpsons over the past three decades that could be ripe for recreating in LEGO form, plus a few that we’re unlikely to see anytime soon.
1 – Springfield elementary school

We’ve already witnessed one version of Springfield elementary school make it into the third LEGO Ideas review of 2024, giving us a good idea of what an official set could potentially offer. From the familiar exterior of the learning establishment to a selection of classrooms inside, there’s certainly plenty of scope for creativity.
As we're in a speculative mood, we’d also be looking for possible minifigures of Bart and Lisa Simpson, Milhouse Van Houten, Nelson Muntz, Ralph Wiggum, Edna Krabappel, Principal Skinner and good old Super Nintendo Chalmers to round out any such potential future release.
2 – Nuclear power plant

What’s a collection of LEGO sets based on The Simpsons if it doesn’t include a two-unit pressurised water reactor nuclear power plant? Owned by Montgomery Burns, the iconic Springfield location is also the workplace of Homer Simpson and many other fan-favourite characters.
For any potential LEGO recreations, we’d expect the two grey towers to be featured in some form, along with Homer’s Sector 7-G work area, Mr. Burns’ office and the Sector 12 plutonium isolation model (located next to the candy machines).
In terms of a possible minifigure selection, a new Homer Simpson variant would be appreciated, along with Mr. Burns, Waylon Smithers Jr., Lenny Leonard, Carl Carlson and poor Frank ‘Grimey’ Grimes Sr.
3 – The Android’s Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop

Another fan-favourite Springfield location is The Android’s Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop, run by the surly and sarcastic Comic Book Guy (aka Jeffrey Albertson). One of Bart’s go-to establishments, the shop is stacked with rare items and collectibles, which could definitely give LEGO designers an embarrassment of riches to choose from.
Stickered or printed Easter eggs up for grabs should include the likes of a drawing of the original Itchy by Chester J. Lampwick, a rare picture of Sean Connery signed by Roger Moore, a copy of the Sax on the Beach album by Bleeding Gums Murphy and a mint-condition version of Radioactive Man #1.
An ideal minifigure line-up would be Comic Book Guy himself, new iterations of Bart, Milhouse and Lisa, alongside Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy. Oh, and would it be too much to ask for the first-ever Stan Lee minifigure too, or is that one licensed crossover secret crisis too far?
4 – Moe’s tavern

Home to Springfield’s collection of resident booze hounds, Moe’s tavern is as rundown and visually-lacking as its proprietor. Having said that, there’s still plenty of scope for a LEGO set to recreate the iconic watering hole, although that’s not likely to happen anytime soon.
Given the LEGO Group’s strict guidelines regarding the depiction of alcohol and alcohol-related products, a version of Moe’s tavern may just have to remain purely the stuff of a Duff beer-fuelled dream for the time being.
The same would also apply to the potential rogue’s gallery of miscreant minifigures that could frequent such a brick-built watering hole, including Moe Szyslak himself, Barney Gumble, Sam (look him up) and Homer’s English doppelganger, Guy Incognito.
5 – First Church of Springfield

Another possible set spinning out of The Simpsons that might fall afoul of LEGO guidelines (this time of a religious nature) would be the First Church of Springfield. This animated place of worship has appeared in numerous episodes of the show, with long drawn-out sermons delivered by the monotone voice of Reverend Lovejoy.
Still, at least such a location could be the chance to include LEGO minifigures of characters that might not otherwise make it into any other models. For instance, those could include Reverend Lovejoy, the Simpson family in their Sunday best, Ned Flanders, Grampa Simpson and Helen Lovejoy.
Whether any of those Springfield buildings will pop-up as LEGO The Simpsons sets in the future remains to be seen. For now though, fans can keep an eye out for 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger arriving on June 1 for Insiders members and for everyone else on June 4.
The LEGO Icons model will be priced at £179.99 / $209.99 / €199.99, with orders placed between June 1 to June 7 eligible for a free The Simpsons Living Room GWP, while stocks last.
