A new LEGO book is available to buy now, digging into the history of brick-built space in a look back through the decades of the classic theme.
The LEGO Group is certainly not done with nostalgic looks back to its history with space, with a new LEGO book, 508813 Space 1978-1992, now available to buy. Priced at £42.99 in the UK, $49.99 in the US, and €49.99 in Europe, the 200-page hardcover book features photos, illustrations, trivia, statistics, and stories that cover the LEGO Group’s history of space sets released between 1978 and 1992.
The information is paired with history from around the world and global events that helped shape the LEGO sets as the theme grew. A taste of what's inside has been shared on the listing, with a sneak peek at two pages from the book.
It would make the ideal accompaniment to any purchases of 10355 Blacktron Renegade, the return of a classic LEGO Space set with a reimagined modern design. Plus, the book does count towards GWP thresholds. At the moment, you can earn up to three GWPs, with 30688 Tropical Toucan included in any orders of £35 / $40 / €40 or more on DREAMZzz, City, Creator 3in1 and Friends, 40756 Lucky Knots with purchases of £135 / $150 / €150 or more on all themes, and 40757 Corner Kiosk with purchases of 10350 Tudor Corner exclusively.
