A new LEGO Star Wars short has been released to celebrate the upcoming holiday season, complete with a race to deliver a gift to a certain Hutt crime lord.
The annual holiday season is almost upon us, with just over a week left to get all of your Christmas shopping done and dusted. Fortunately, when it comes to potential models to purchase for the LEGO Star Wars fan in your life, there are certainly plenty of options available, such as the recently released
Included in the 3,943-piece set is an all-new Jabba the Hutt figure, an upgrade on the previous mould that made its debut in 2013. The updated version of the crime lord is also the driving force behind a humorous new LEGO Star Wars short for the holiday season, Jabba All The Way.
In the video, Han and Greedo compete in a race to see who can deliver the ideal Christmas gift to Jabba himself, in order to curry favour with the Hutt gangster. Along the way, fans get to see a few familiar minifigure faces, such as the denizens of the Mos Eisley cantina, Luke Skywalker, Uncle Owen, Aunt Beru and many more.
We won’t reveal who ultimately gets to present Jabba with his special gift, but it's worth noting that one look at a Christmas themed version of the Hutt's throne room should certainly give LEGO Star Wars modders something to work on over the festive break.
