The largest LEGO Star Wars set to date recently took centre stage at a unique After Dark event hosted by New York City’s Artechouse venue.
New York’s coolest creatives made their way to the trendy Chelsea neighbourhood on Manhattan’s West Side recently to experience a special LEGO Star Wars event. Artechouse is known for its immersive and interactive art exhibitions, and was chosen by the LEGO Group for guests to take a unique journey to a brick-built galaxy far, far away.
Death Star After Dark offered up a reimagined space, where multiple LEGO Star Wars sets could be viewed, along with many large scale custom models too. The main draw of the event was 75419 Death Star, a 9,023-piece version of the Imperial Battle Station and the most expensive LEGO set to date.

According to Hypebeast, Death Star After Dark was a ‘cultural playground for adults who never lost their sense of wonder’ and was attended by sneakerheads, creatives and life-long Star Wars fans.
Guests were encouraged to follow a ‘cyberpunk-meets-galactic’ dress code and could spend their time looking at LEGO Star Wars UCS sets such as 75192 Millennium Falcon,
In addition, galactic light projections dazzled those in attendance, who were also able to enjoy music from the likes of DJ Odalys and a special appearance by violinist and film composer Meredith Ezinma Charles.
75419 Death Star is available to purchase right now, priced at £899.99 / $999.99 / €999.99. To take a deeper dive into the LEGO Star Wars UCS set, be sure to check out our full review of the massive model right here.
