LEGO Star Wars exhibition announced for Melbourne Museum

A huge LEGO Star Wars exhibition will be announced at the Melbourne Museum next year, featuring models by a LEGO Certified Professional.

LEGO Certified Professional Ryan McNaught will be teaming up with the Melbourne Museum in 2025 to host LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition – set to officially debut in Australia on May 4, 2025. The Star Wars Day launch is likely not a coincidence and teasers on Instagram have hinted at what to expect from the exciting event.

Models confirmed for the event include a massive X-Wing, a Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul lightsaber battle, a pair of Imperial Guards, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker as well as Grogu. There will also be interactive zones to build custom creations, as you would expect from a LEGO event.

It looks to be an exciting event for LEGO Star Wars enthusiasts in Australia and it will require tickets as confirmed by the Melbourne Museum website, which should go on sale in early 2025. Over eight million bricks and 25,000 hours were needed to construct the various builds featured in the exhibition.

You can stay tuned for updates via the official website for the exhibition ahead of its debut on May 4, 2025. McNaught's experience with LEGO exhibitions is extensive and you can read more about his past events by clicking here.
