LEGO Star Wars 40730 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber may be long gone, but it can still be yours for much less than on the likes of eBay by piecing it together through Pick a Brick.

When 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge first launched earlier this week, it was accompanied by an exclusive set that could only be obtained by picking up the massive build, and only for a matter of hours.

It's time for another deep dive into Pick a Brick to source almost every piece needed for 40730 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber.

It has been discovered by Chriswashere313 on Reddit that 44 of the 45 different pieces used in the gift-with-purchase are available on Pick a Brick for anyone to order. What's more, those parts only come to just over £21, which is far less than you'll pay for the brick-built lightsaber from resellers. That's before delivery or other fees, but it's still much less than paying for 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge or a copy of the gift from a reseller.

We've put together a table featuring every part from 40730 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber available on Pick a Brick, missing just the printed display plate. That's not a bad trade-off considering the price required for the official set now and after it sold out. You may be able to devise a satisfactory custom display plaque for it anyway.
