LEGO Star Wars May the 4th UCS gets a rumoured price hike

The price of this year's LEGO Star Wars May 4 UCS set could be higher than first thought, according to the latest rumours on 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship.

The UCS version of Jango Fett's ship was originally rumoured to be this year's May the 4th UCS set, first believed to cost €239.99. Now, updated information from the usually reliable YouTuber Brick Clicker states that the price will be $300, a steep price jump. That's for a set made up of 2,970 pieces, which is admittedly roughly 1,000 pieces more than 2024's 75382 TIE Interceptor and 2023's 75355 X-wing Starfighter.

That will leave plenty of pieces to capture every detail of 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship, a ship that was last seen in the Ultimate Collector Series a long 10 years ago with 75060 Slave I. The dark blue and grey ship is seen in the prequel movies, where Jango Fett uses it to escape from Obi-Wan Kenobi and stay on the run from the Jedi.

Previous rumours stated that the UCS set would feature a highly-detailed Jango Fett minifigure with arm and leg printing, as well as a young Boba Fett minifigure. For the full display, you might also want to pick up another rumoured set, 75408 Jango Fett Helmet, expected to cost $69.99.
