LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy second season trailer revealed

A trailer for the second season of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, dubbed Pieces of the Past, has been officially revealed.

We've got our first look at the second season of Rebuild the Galaxy, after a poster offered us a glimpse last month. That also gives us the official release date, with season two, Pieces of the Past, airing around the world on Disney+ on September 19.

As well as some familiar faces, including main characters Sig and Dev Greebling, Jedi Bob, and various other figures from season one, there's plenty of new characters, ships, and locations to enjoy. There's the Landolorian (a blend of the Mandalorian and Lando Calrissian) accompanying 'Baby Yoda' (a nod to the nickname the community gave Grogu), Darth Maul in a snowsuit, an evil K-2SO, and the appearance of the previously teased Big Bad of the season: Solitus.

In a 'blink and you'll miss it' moment, there's also a glimpse of Darth Revan leaping into battle against the two brothers. The appearance of the Knights of the Old Republic character demonstrates that the show is still proving itself to be made catering to far-flung relics of Star Wars lore, as it did with the appearance of Jedi Bob in season one. There's even a nod to this with the appearance of Jaxson, another Legends characters, in the final moments, voiced by Ben Schwartz, who describes himself as 'a real deep cut'.

The plot, as demonstrated in the trailer, follows Sig and Dev needing to team up, putting the conflict of season one behind them, to take down the greater threat of Solitus and the rift that threatens to rip the galaxy apart. To do so, it appears to require some creative building, teamwork, and some classic LEGO jokes. Check out the trailer in full via the embedded video below, ahead of season two's release on September 19, 2025.
