It's finally time for LEGO Super Mario minifigures, as at least one for the theme has been announced for 2027, but multiple sets are teased.

The teaser states that the new form will feature in sets, as in multiple models, in 2027. This is similar to when the LEGO Group teased the arrival of Mario Kart in the theme in 2024. LEGO Super Mario minifigures have been a hot topic in the online community since the debut of the theme in 2020. The theme's creations have been experimenting with practically every other kind of build, but now we know for certain that the theme is moving to minifigures, or at least one minifigure.
Mario's minifigure has been unveiled as part of the teaser, sporting a specially-moulded head and full-length legs. The printing is simple, but adequate. He is seen coming out of a pipe in the teaser, but it does not appear to be built out of LEGO elements. While Mario is the only minifigure confirmed so far, the mention of multiple sets may mean that more are coming.
