The LEGO Group has cleaned up in the construction toys category again in the Hero Toy Awards at Toy Fair 2026 across Botanicals and Minecraft.
The LEGO Group's presence at Toy Fair 2026 saw the company win two of the annual Hero Toy Awards, both suitably in the construction toys category. It's a category the LEGO Group often finds success in, and this year's winners include entries from Botanicals and Minecraft.

London Toy Fair is now over for 2026, and the LEGO Group has once again managed to impress the independent judges behind the Hero Toy Awards.
“Toy Fair’s Hero Toys provide a valuable snapshot of the products retailers believe will perform strongly over the coming year," said Rebecca Deeming-Mitchell, Senior Communications & Events Manager at the British Toy & Hobby Association.
"The 2026 selection highlights the industry’s commitment to innovation, value, and play-led design. From pocket money treats to toys for big occasions, this year’s Hero Toys demonstrate the creativity and variety of toys across the UK toy industry.”
The LEGO Group's full presence at the London Toy Fair 2026 has yet to be seen, with access to the booth typically limited to retailers and media by appointment only. Either way, the event continues until January 22.
