A release date for The Legend of Zelda movie has been announced, and it spells bad news for the only LEGO The Legend of Zelda set.
After the initial announcement in 2023, the Sony Pictures The Legend of Zelda live-action adaptation is now confirmed, via the official Nintendo Today app, to be released on March 26, 2027. That's two years away from the time of writing and just under eight months after the only LEGO The Legend of Zelda set is currently scheduled to retire.

The arrival of the live-action film in 2027 will be a great opportunity for the LEGO Group to market the franchise's only LEGO set while the series is in the minds of audiences worldwide.

Alternatively, the LEGO Group could opt to release a second LEGO The Legend of Zelda set in time for the 2027 movie release, keeping it on shelves for longer as a result. That's only speculation on our part and right now,
