LEGO The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks launches on LEGO.com

The LEGO Group has made The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks available online following its wide release and just in time for double points.

After it was released widely earlier this year, Blocks magazine US editor and former Brick Fanatics contributor Daniel Konstanski's The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks has surprised launched on the official online store. Listed as 5009156 The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks: The Story of a Design Icon, you can pick up the 342-page, hardcover book now for £34.99 / €39.99 in the UK and Europe. It is also available in the US under 5009202 The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks: The Story of a Design Icon for $39.99.

The LEGO Group has made the book available online at the perfect time as it should count towards the LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 gifts-with-purchase and double points on all purchases (for LEGO Insiders only). The listing has also provided a look at some of the pages as a teaser of what to expect in the lengthy book.

5009156 The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks: The Story of a Design Icon features interviews with set testers, element designers, set designers, company executives and more. The book originally enjoyed a one-off print run in 2022, available to backers who crowdfunded the title in 2021.

There's a lot to see in the over 300 pages, including some Alien Conquest concept art and an early idea for Power Miners that replaced the rock monsters with undead dinosaurs. Head to LEGO.com to pick up your copy now and this is unlikely to be available in most LEGO stores.
