LEGO Transformers rumoured to return to Icons in 2025

The latest rumours suggest that Transformers will once again appear in LEGO Icons in 2025, along with a pet-shaped build.

LEGO Icons welcomed 10338 Bumblebee to its ranks this year, a companion to 2022's 10302 Optimus Prime – and there could be more Transformers-themed builds on the way in 2025. According to Instagram user a.clay.brick reports (via DaveBricks1995, the source that was seemingly the first to mention a new U-wing and Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter for 2025) that LEGO Icons will have more LEGO Transformers sets in 2025.

That's apparently sets, plural, so whether that's more Autobots, some play-centred builds, or perhaps some Decepticons to showdown against the brick-built characters we've got so far, remains to be seen. There are currently four rumoured sets without set names that could be prime spots for some Transformers builds.

One set number that's not said to be related to Transformers is 10359, now thought to be a brick-built Dachshund, as reported by a.clay.brick via Polish LEGO fan site FanKlockow. The build should be pretty detailed, made up of 1,302 pieces and priced at $119.99, if previous rumours are to be believed. That puts it in a similar range as the 1,710-piece LEGO Ideas 21349 Tuxedo Cat, another pet-themed set.

The LEGO rumour mill has been particularly chaotic of late, with new names and details popping up so much that it’s becoming increasingly difficult to judge the credibility of individual sources. Remember that we won't know for sure what's on the way until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. For now, here's a reminder of what's said to be on the way for LEGO Icons in 2025.
