A sneaky surprise could prove to be a welcome bonus for those who plan to grab a copy of the forthcoming LEGO 40767 Up-Scaled Baby Astronaut GWP.
We had our first look yesterday at a new LEGO GWP on the way soon in the shape of 40767 Up-Scaled Baby Astronaut. The 250-piece promotional set features a brick-built toddler in a bright red astronaut outfit, complete with classic LEGO Space logo and cute printed face.
At this stage, no additional details have been revealed regarding 40767 Up-Scaled Baby Astronaut or its availability, including whether or not the GWP will include an additional surprise that we hope will be hiding inside.
40649 Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure was released in 2023 and came with a secret bonus item inside the head of the massive character. Removing the blue hat of the larger minifigure revealed a standard size version of the same minifigure, which could be placed in a seat to essentially control the bigger build.
That might potentially mean that 40767 Up-Scaled Baby Astronaut may come with a unique red baby astronaut minifigure inside its helmet, but that’s just pure speculation on our part. There's no suggestion that is the case, at least according to the official listing for the promotional set, but we're still keeping our fingers crossed for a bonus surprise.
However, if that does come to fruition, then fans of classic LEGO Space would be in for a treat, as a red baby astronaut minifigure could then join the existing line-up of blue, pink and white versions of the same minifigure.
