The villain for Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four may be a familiar face according to rumour, hopefully receiving the cinematic iteration he deserves.
Film industry insider Jeff Sneider, via Culture Crave on X, states that Galactus is to be the main villain in Fantastic Four, which had its main cast confirmed earlier this week. It's rumoured that Dune's Javier Bardem is the top choice for the giant villain, possibly joining the likes of The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal, The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby, Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn, and The Bear’s Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Galactus is a classic Marvel villain whose size can vary but is generally depicted as a huge helmeted cosmic character that has a penchant for consuming entire plants. Galactus has previously been depicted in 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, though it wasn't exactly accurate to his appearance in the comics, taking the form of a series of clouds in a huge cosmic storm.
We've yet to receive any Fantastic Four minifigures and considering that every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie has at least one model, the Marvel Studios Fantastic Four movie may be our best chance at some. Provided this unconfirmed rumour is accurate, that could go for Galactus too.

Galactus' only Minifigure is featured digitally in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game, where he closely resembles his comic counterpart but with a level of detail on the helmet that reflects his giant size. With any luck, this will be closer to how Galactus appears in the Marvel Studios movie rather than clouds, provided the rumour is accurate.
