More details on LEGO Brick Like This! game

Following the first look at the new LEGO Brick Like This! game earlier this week, an explanation of the rules has arrived adding an unexpected twist.

Asmodee was in attendance at the London Toy Fair earlier this week, showing off LEGO Monkey Palace and the upcoming Brick Like This! games. After we speculated the rules based on the initial image, Blocks has provided a more in-depth explanation of the game from the event and there's a twist that you probably weren't have been expecting.

The next LEGO game from Asmodee with have players teaming up in pairs with one instructor and one guesser. The instructor will look at the card and describe the shape and required elements to the guesser, who must then put it together correctly, likely with a time limit.

The numbers of each card correspond to a level of difficulty because the number directly describes the number of elements used in the build.

Based on this description, Brick Like This! will be considerably more collaborative than Monkey Palace and it launches first on August 1 at Gen Con in North America. A launch in other regions as part of a wider release is likely to follow by the end of the year.
