Rumoured piece counts for the LEGO NINJAGO 2025 summer wave reveal three mammoth sets are expected to be on the way.
Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat has published rumoured piece counts for the entire summer 2025 wave, said to be coming out in June. The varied wave covers pocket-sized sets of just 79 pieces like 71838 Kai's Motorcycle Speed Racer all the way up to three four-figure piece counts.
71845 Lloyd's Transforming Jet Mech is said to include 1,112 pieces, as well as 71847 Guardian Dragon & Temple Diorama with 1,650, and 71848 The Temple Bounty with 2,387. That means each one of those should be a sizable, detailed build. Between 71845 Lloyd's Transforming Jet Mech and 71846 Fire Knight Mech (now rumoured to have 996 pieces), we can likely expect some monster-sized mechs to rival existing ones like 71834 Zane's Ultra Combiner Mech and 71821 Cole's Titan Dragon Mech.
The other two sets are even larger, including 71847 Guardian Dragon & Temple Diorama, the theme's very first diorama and perhaps its first foray into 18+ sets. If it follows in the footsteps of LEGO Star Wars diorama sets – although seemingly much larger – this rumoured set could blur the lines of play and display still further.
