Recent reports of Encanto's success on Disney+ and its music on the charts might suggest that more LEGO sets based on the film are possible.
At the end of 2021, Disney's Encanto was released in cinemas around the world, and the LEGO Group launched three models to go alongside it –
"On average, “Encanto” streamers have watched the film five times with the title accumulating over 180 million re-watches globally since launch." reads a new press release from Disney.
As more evidence, the We Don't Talk About Bruno Song from Encanto made it to the number one spot of the Top 100 charts, a place that not even Frozen's Let It Go could make it to, with that track peaking at number five.
With all this in mind, it seems likely that Disney will be eager to continue the world of Encanto in new media and merchandise, and Chief Executive Officer Bob Chapek recently referred to Encanto as a franchise in the first-quarter Walt Disney Company earnings call, despite only having one movie. This may indicate that there is something more planned for the Madrigal family.

Whether Encanto can see the same success as Encanto in the long-run has yet to be seen and no further LEGO Encanto sets have been confirmed at the time of writing. However, with it being referred to as a franchise and evidently being successful on streaming, it seems plausible that the ranks of LEGO Encanto could be expanded in the future, especially given the initial wave was a missed opportunity.
