Naughty Dog games writer Neil Druckmann has been gifted a custom-built LEGO vehicle based on one of his upcoming games.
Video game writer Neil Druckmann, who has worked on many titles, including critically acclaimed The Last Of Us and upcoming release Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, met up with a fan who has made a custom build of heroine Jordan A. Mun’s futuristic Porsche spaceship to receive a copy of the unofficial set.
The video game series follows bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun and her unique vehicle, known as the 984 Tempest NDX. LEGO creator 2Bricks was inspired by the futuristic Porsche-inspired spaceship, creating a custom build of it on Rebrickable. Made up of 1,349 parts, the instructions are available for $10, while the parts will set you back roughly £130.

Druckmann caught wind of the custom build on social media and reached out to the LEGO creator, which ended up with the pair of them meeting up and the video game writer receiving a completed copy, including a minifigure and synthwave sword.
"I had no idea that Neil Druckmann himself would want one!" wrote 2Bricks on Instagram. "I had a great chat and I got to nerd out showing off all the little details I included!”
Druckmann then took to Instagram himself to thank the LEGO fan, writing: "The Porsche 984 Tempest NDX in Lego form! Thanks for this beautiful design and build." He also shared some images of the set itself, showing off the custom build in full.
