The LEGO Monkie Kid and Chinese New Year 2025 sets were revealed earlier this week, confirming new elements that will change building forever.
Everyone interested in building custom creations to longtime NINJAGO enthusiasts should be excited about a pair of elements hidden in four LEGO sets recently revealed for 2025. These pieces are featured in
The exciting new elements include a stud with a clip on the bottom as opposed to the top, allowing you to build upside down in spaces never previously possible in small spaces. Alone, this would have changed LEGO models forever but paired with another new piece, next year is off to a great start.
NINJAGO fans may have spotted the short chain in some of the Monkie Kid and Chinese New Year sets. Previous chain elements have included either five or 21 links, but this one has only one. That's a much better length for a pair of accurate nunchucks similar to what we saw in 71027 Series 20's Martial Arts Boy, which had two links.
Should these be introduced in a transparent blue colour, they would be ideal for finally depicting the perfect Nunchuks of Lightning from the early seasons of NINJAGO. Combining it with the reverse round plate clip element, an array of new techniques can be devised in custom and official models alike.
These join the new helmet coloured gold and silver and a dumpling highlighted previously as new elements in the LEGO Monkie Kid and Chinese New Year 2025 sets and it seems unlikely that this will be the last fresh pieces coming to the portfolio next year.
