New LEGO Build a Minifigure options for October

Now even mermaids can rock a double denim look, with the latest Build a Minifigure options appearing in LEGO stores.

As spotted by Promobricks, the LEGO Group has updated its Build a Minifigure offering in physical LEGO stores. While September saw the launch of various Halloween-themed elements, you could certainly use some of these pieces to create some unique spooky costumes.

After all, what could be scarier than a mermaid in denim? Yes, you read that right, there's the option to make a minifigure mermaid with a denim-style tail. Why you would want to do that is beyond us, but it'll certainly make a change from the standard scales and pastels.

Otherwise, some accessories and elements to note include a tiny acorn hat and a golden version of Hagrid's bushy hair and beard. For accessories, the most Halloween-y options include a pitchfork and a slingshot, ideal for posing some outdoor spooky scenes in your LEGO cityscape.

You can find Build a Minifigure elements like these in most physical LEGO stores, but bear in mind that some locations might not have all the newest elements or sometimes take a few days for the full line-up to be rolled out. If in doubt, ask staff in LEGO stores for help if there are any specific parts you're looking for.
