A creative take on shrimp-fried rice has captured the attention – and the votes – of 10,000 people in the LEGO Ideas community.
Made up of around 500 pieces, RockRaiderMiner's Shrimp-Fried Rice puts a fun twist on the dish, putting the shrimp in the chef's hot seat. The brick-built shrimp, sporting a chef's hat to really look the part, is cooking a tiny pan of rice over an open flame.
The attention to detail carries through to the main part of the model, designed to look like a takeaway food carton. A motor within the set makes the shrimp shake the pan to saute it, adding a dose of realism to a fantastical set.
Shrimp-Fried Rice makes a total of 50 LEGO Ideas projects designed by fans in the third 2025 review, all hoping to become real LEGO sets.
