Phineas and Ferb fans refuse to give up on getting the show into LEGO Ideas

Phineas and Ferb are back on LEGO Ideas – but this time with a new twist on the returning fan-designed project.

Phineas and Ferb must be one of the most prolific IPs ever to grace LEGO Ideas at this point, with several fan-designed projects based on the animated show gaining 10,000 supporters over the years. The third 2023 review saw no less than three Phineas and Ferb projects, including one from teenager Greygo.

Now, two years on, the fan designer is back with a new design based on the show. Where the first one rendered Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated as a modular building, complete with the family’s antiques shop on the side, the 2025 version is split into two vertical halves, with the iconic tree on top, complete with a secret entrance to Perry’s Lair, Rover the robot dog, the Portal to Mars, the Flying Car of the Future, Today, and one of the most memorable inventions, the Coolest Coaster Ever.

Made up of 2,999 pieces and nine minifigures – Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Agent P, Buford, Baljeet, Phineas, Ferb, Jeremy, Candace, and Isabella – as well as buildable characters of Norm, Perry, Ducky Momo, Balloony, and Meap.

The introduction of the LEGO Ideas Parking Lot could be a gamechanger for Phineas and Ferb, if the issue with getting the projects approved is to do with licensing. It's been speculated that the Parking Lot is a space to give the LEGO Group more time to negotiate with potential partners, so this could be good news for Phineas and Ferb.

Of course, the reason that the LEGO Group is not approving Phineas and Ferb projects could be nothing to do with licensing, so it's far from a guarantee. Nonethless, the appetite is clearly there within the LEGO community, so fingers crossed for this iteration of the project.
