Pick up the perfect companion set for the LEGO Ideas Viking Village, despite its retirement, at Barnes & Noble while you still can.
LEGO Ideas' new Viking Village model is missing just one thing – a ship to dock at the island's port. Thankfully, LEGO Creator 3-in-1 has the perfect solution, though it has now been retired. The out-of-production LEGO 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent is still available at Barnes & Noble in the US for its standard price of $119.99.
The 1,192-piece set's main build offers a ship featuring a giant striped sail, shields alongside the side and an appropriate dragon head design at the front. Four minifigures are included to man the ship as well as the sizable Midgard Serpent model.
While the ship is by far the best companion to the LEGO Ideas Viking Village, it's worth pointing out that instructions are provided for a house and a dragon, or a wolf and a tree too. This set is also the exclusive home of the hair and winged headband combination brick used by one of the four minifigures.
Barnes & Noble in the US has the set in stock now for $119.99 and grab the retired set for your collection, whether you have the new Viking Village to pair it with or not. On its own, it should still look great on display as you can see in our review.
