Some recent orders on LEGO Pick a Brick will be cancelled for mistakenly including retired parts, and a statement has been issued.
Select enthusiasts recently shopping for pieces on Pick a Brick may have seen some more unusual and older elements available for purchase. It has now been confirmed that any retired elements that were listed were there by mistake, and the LEGO Group will not be able to fulfil those orders.
This won't affect every Pick a Brick order, but be aware that if your purchase does include a retired piece that was accidentally listed, it will be cancelled. An official statement has been issued regarding the situation, although it seems like the team may have their dates mixed up (unless they're able to predict the future).
"On Thursday, March 26, 2026, an error on LEGO.com caused recently retired products to reappear on Pick a Brick as available to buy," the statement reads. "We're sorry for the confusion caused and are working with the relevant teams to correct all product listings. Unfortunately, please expect any orders which include these elements to be cancelled over the following days as the stock is not available."
The statement continues with some good news, as long as your Pick a Brick order helped you qualify for a gift-with-purchase.
"For orders that included a GWP, the GWP will still ship even though the Pick a Brick portion of the order is cancelled."
Any orders that did not include retired parts that were mistakenly listed will continue to be fulfilled as normal.
