Rumoured LEGO Marvel Series 2 CMF line-up includes X-Men, Hawkeye, Kang

A first list of characters supposedly included in the rumoured LEGO Marvel Series 2 Collectible Minifigures draws from Moon Knight, Hawkeye, X-Men and more.

The third (and possibly final) LEGO Collectible Minifigures series for 2023 – following 71037 Series 24 and 71038 Disney 100 – is said to be a follow-up to 2021’s 71031 Marvel Studios, which brought together 12 different characters from Marvel’s Disney+ shows. Based on a list of included characters from Promobricks, it sounds like the second series will pick up where the first left off.

With multiple new Marvel Cinematic Universe shows debuting on Disney+ since 71031 Marvel Studios came and went, there’s plenty for the LEGO Group to dig into across this second series. But where 71038 Disney 100 has bumped up the character count to 18 for its own celebration of the House of Mouse’s centennial birthday, the second LEGO Marvel series will apparently stick to a dozen new minifigures.

According to Promobricks, those will pull from MCU shows including Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, She-Hulk and Loki, the spooky special Werewolf by Night, and the upcoming X-Men ’97, which acts as a revival of 1992’s classic X-Men: The Animated Series. You can check out the full list of rumoured minifigures – and their source material – in the table below.

Promobricks states that Echo will be the ‘final version’ from her upcoming solo show, while Kang is ‘the blue version’. This is also said to be – as expected – the first Collectible Minifigures series packaged in cardboard boxes rather than foil packets, as the LEGO Group continues its pursuit of environmentally-friendly packaging.

As always, this is only a rumour until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group, so take it with the customary pinch of salt for now. (Even if April Fool’s Day is over for another year…)
