Star Wars: The Acolyte is the perfect opportunity for a LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection revival

The latest episode of The Acolyte includes a stunning set piece that has us wanting a LEGO Star Wars sub-theme's revival more than ever.

The LEGO Group never officially announced the end of the LEGO Star Wars helmet collection, it just sort of...came to a stop. Indeed, there's not been the faintest whisper of another brick-built helmet from a galaxy far, far away for this year or beyond. However, the latest Star Wars TV show just debuted a helmet so cool that it really should usher the collection back out of its unofficial retirement.

Warning: spoilers ahead for episode five of The Acolyte.

The identity of the Stranger, or Darth Teeth as he has so been nicknamed, was revealed to be Qimir in episode five of The Acolyte, airing on Disney+ on June 26. His reveal was followed by one of the coolest Star Wars fight scenes to air in recent years (or even ever, arguably), with the Stranger using his helmet to quite literally headbutt lightsabers out of action.

The helmet isn't just a practical tool, it looks good as well. It's marked with a sinister grin of metallic teeth, sweeping from each of the high cheekbones in a true monstrosity of a smile. It earned the newcomer Sith Lord the unofficial title of Darth Teeth and is simply begging to be made into a LEGO Star Wars set, in the style of the Helmet Collection.

The demand is certainly there if you look at merchandise from other companies. Hasbro's The Stranger helmet has been met with storming reviews, despite the fact that pre-orders have only been open for a couple of days and no orders have yet been shipped.

On the LEGO side of things, no sets have been rumoured or announced related to The Acolyte. With few recognisable ships making an impact on the show, the most obvious set to fill that gap would be a brick-built version of the creepy helmet. We're only speculating for now but here's hoping.
