You never know when the best price on a LEGO set is going to pop up, but Amazon's Prime Big Deals have a lot of them right now.
I like to think that I'm clever with my LEGO purchases, not least because it's a big part of my job at Brick Fanatics to know what makes a good deal and where to find them. However, scanning over Amazon's LEGO deals during the retailer's Big Deals this week has made me wish I had hung on a little longer for a few sets.
Of course, you can never really know when a bigger price is going to pop up, and waiting too long might mean a set is gone for good, especially once it starts to get close to retirement. Still, for the first set on this list, I didn't even hang around – I bought it at full price within the first month of release.
The LEGO Star Wars midi-scale collection strikes the perfect balance between detail and affordability, and 75375 Millennium Falcon is the best of the lot. Not only is it an iconic ship, but it does so well at this scale, standing out from the others in the collection.
For all those reasons, I bit the bullet and got it at release – but if I hadn't bought it then, I definitely would now while it's discounted to less than £50 at Amazon UK.

Next up is 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave, a 1,810-piece work of art. I have a love for many LEGO Art sets, but 31208 stands out from them all with a unique build experience that reflects the unique nature of the original artwork. The soothing colours, the dynamic 3D look, and the even more affordable price now that it's been reduced by 28% at Amazon all combine for a deal you don't want to miss out on.

Last but not least, I did pick up 75304 Darth Vader Helmet for less than RRP – but annoyingly, not this low. While this isn't the lowest price we've seen on the iconic helmet, it comes pretty close. Considering the LEGO Star Wars set is due to retire at the end of this year, this might be your last chance to grab arguably the best brick-built Star Wars helmet at this low price.
