Time is running out on these retiring LEGO Pick a Brick pieces

Hundreds of LEGO elements are due to disappear from LEGO Pick a Brick for good within the next couple of months – or even sooner.

The LEGO Group is removing hundreds of LEGO pieces from the Pick a Brick service, including several popular Space and Castle minifigure accessories and parts. Take this as a heads up that now might be your last chance to flesh out your builds and displays with extra parts.

With 10305 Lion Knights' Castle heading into retirement soon, the same can be said for many of its parts on Pick a Brick, including a number of Castle minifigure shields, torsos, and other accessories, including the printed capes for the horses. They're joined by the LEGO Super Mario banana element, as well as a host of animals, including both the adult and baby gorillas.

Over in the world of LEGO Space, the blue classic Space adult and baby heads, as well as both white and blue air tanks, are also due to disappear from Pick a Brick in the next couple of months. There's also a number of space-themed minifigure torsos due to be removed from Pick a Brick for good.

There's no exact date for when these elements will be taken down, but certainly in the next couple of months. If some prove popular (like the Space and Castle ones), they could sell out even sooner.
