Two more fan-designed projects sneak into LEGO Ideas last minute

Two more LEGO Ideas projects have made it into the third review round of 2025, including one of the most prolific fan designers ever.

2026 may be well underway, but the third review round of 2025 is still accepting projects that make it past 10,000 supporters, at least until January 5, 2026. Two more fan-designed models have entered the 10K club, both leaning into a naval theme.

The Krusty Krab

The first is Trevorbuilder's The Krusty Krab, inspired by the underwater restaurant from SpongeBob SquarePants. The eatery's roof lifts away to allow access to the interior, which features all the expected details fans of the animated show will recognise, including the backrooms. There are five minifigures included, as well as Gary and Plankton.

Pirate-Themed Restaurant

Next up is Pirate Themed Restaurant, designed by Bricky_Brick aka Pablo Sánchez. Not only has he had several projects gain 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas, but he's also the mind behind 2020's 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay. Now, he's turned his creative skills towards another pirate-themed project, bringing a restaurant to life, complete with a skull and crossbones door, maps leading to treasure, and everything else a group of pirates and sea captains might want.

The Krusty Krab and Pirate Themed Restaurant have become the 66th and 67th projects in the third and final 2025 review round. With this round set to close any day now, remind yourself of the full range of fan-designed projects that already made it in via the table below.
