A listing for LEGO gift-with-purchase that appears to be hooked to Valentine's Day has appeared online, as the LEGO Group starts to prepare for the romantic holiday.
Rumoured to be coming this month, 40679 Love Gift Box has now been revealed to be a Valentine's Day GWP, depicting a Shiba Inu sitting in a heart-shaped chocolate box, complete with extra gifts of a heart balloon and flowers. from the images on the back of the box, it looks like the dog and the box are two separate builds that can be displayed apart from each other, leaving the brick-built box free to add your own gift to someone you love, if you so choose. There's also a level of customisation, with a choice of eyes for the Shiba Inu dog and two different possible sticker messages.
There's no word yet on the exact dates or minimum spend for 40679 Love Gift Box, but it'll likely be coming soon if the listing is live now. The listed price if £9.99, but those prices are rarely indicative of the final minimum spend.
This comes at the same time as the LEGO Group has updated the front page of the website with a red theme preparing people for Valentine's Day, now less than three weeks away. The main sets being pushed for the most romantic day of the year are, unsurprisingly, flowery sets from the Botanical Collection, as well as some less obvious ones like 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera, 31148 Retro Roller Skate, and 31211 Macaw Parrots.
