What will LEGO 76300 Arkham Asylum look like on a modular street?

A new kind of LEGO superhero modular building has been revealed in the form of 76300 Arkham Asylum, and here's how it should look on a street.

After multiple Marvel modular buildings, it's finally LEGO DC's turn with 76300 Arkham Asylum, situated on a 32×32-stud baseplate. It includes 2,953 pieces and will retail for £269.99 in the UK, $299.99 in the US and from €299.99 in Europe when it launches on September 9.

It is officially confirmed to be modular building-compatible with connection points on multiple sides that allow it to act as either an inverted corner with a connecting path, or as a straight entry or proper corner with a dead end in the path. Now that official images of the set have been revealed, here's how the building should look on a modular street before proper comparisons can begin in September.

The blueprint-style image of 76300 Arkham Asylum provides a clear view of the side profile of the building, meaning we can compare its height directly next to other modular buildings by matching the size of the baseplate to them. Similar to 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion, 76300 Arkham Asylum is shorter compared to most modular buildings, and it would benefit from a third floor.

Without such a modification, it looks expectedly different to the rest of the modular buildings, with a smaller scale overall. Since its path ends as an inverted corner, using it as a straight entry means it will need to go on one end of your city, should it be displayed all on one shelf.

Alternatively, LEGO Arkham Asylum should work as our first-ever inverted corner set, pictured below alongside 10350 Tudor Corner and 76269 Avengers Tower. Putting it in a corner inevitably hides a lot of its details, but its different scale is less jarring when not in view as easily. It raises the question of how the truck will get up to the asylum, but that might be amended by adding a road to one side of 76300 Arkham Asylum, continuing the path with a road crossing.

With over a month to go until we can get our hands on 76300 Arkham Asylum, it will be interesting to see how our mock-ups compare to modular buildings in person. We'll be able to figure out where the best possible place for the asylum is in your city at that point, considering the architecture and the chances of a breakout.

76300 Arkham Asylum debuts on September 9 and is available to pre-order now. It’s one of several LEGO sets revealed in conjunction with San Diego Comic-Con. Head here to stay across everything new from SDCC 2025.
