Throughout the LEGO community and at Brick Fanatics you might have spotted the term 'GWP' and we're here to let you know what a GWP is.
Some LEGO sets are only available exclusive as GWPs, which are promotional items not normally sold like standard models. GWPs can also include other items, as long as they are available as part of an offer. LEGO GWPs have so far included decorations, limited-edition sets and polybags.
GWP is an acronym used frequently in the LEGO community and especially by the Brick Fanatics team. It stands for gift-with-purchase and that means any item that is granted to shoppers when you meet the qualifying conditions. More on these qualifying conditions can be found below.
How to get LEGO GWPs

You can pick up LEGO GWPs by meeting the qualifying conditions at whatever retailer the offer is available at. Usually, LEGO GWPs are limited only to LEGO.com and LEGO stores but occasionally, you can find them at other retailers though this is much less reliable.
In most cases, LEGO GWPs will be granted to any order over a certain amount of money. For example, you might be able to grab a small free LEGO set when you spend over £80 / $90 / €90. These required spends can go quite high, upwards of £220 / $250 / €250 but they tend to vary across the year.
Occassionally, you'll find that LEGO GWPs are only being offered with specific sets, usually contained to certain themes. In 2024, this included NINJAGO, City, DREAMZzz and Animal Crossing. In these cases, you need to buy sets from that theme or collection to qualify for the GWP as well as keep your purchase over the specified price threshold.
Another point to keep in mind is that you may find that a LEGO GWP is only available with a specific set including
Can you get multiple LEGO GWPs?

Even with the various limitations that are usually imposed on earning gifts-with-purchase, you can stack as many GWPs as are available provided that you can make your order meet the various qualifications and threshold.
Unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions, there shouldn't be any problems with stacking multiple gifts-with-purchase in one order as long as you have the right order put together. It's not often the case that terms and conditions don't allow you to stack GWPs but it's always worth checking just in case.
