Win a free LEGO NINJAGO set as BrickLink prepares for anniversary

BrickLink is preparing for LEGO NINJAGO's 15th anniversary with a new Studio contest based on the golden weapons, with free sets up for grabs.

LEGO NINJAGO is just a couple of weeks away from starting its 15th-anniversary celebrations, including a swathe of new sets. Before then, the BrickLink team are getting involved with a new Studio contest based on the action-packed theme.

LEGO NINJAGO: Battle for the Golden Weapons is the latest activity on BrickLink, tasking fans to use the Studio software to craft a dragon, vehicle, or mech to battle for one of the Golden Weapons. Elemental flair is the name of the game here, and it's suggested to use appropriate elements to tie your model to lightning, earth, fire or ice.

You'll also need to ensure that your models use fewer than 1,000 parts and only use elements from the NINJAGO activity palette that is now live in Studio. While you're free to reference NINJAGO, any other IP needs to be avoided, as is typical with any LEGO contests. You can submit your models on the BrickLink Studio activity page by uploading them as a normal creation and making sure that you tag your submissions with BLNINJAGO4Weapons.

With the holiday season coming up fast, you don't need to worry about getting on with your entries immediately. The deadline for submission is January 23. The prizes for this contest include six NINJAGO sets, one for each winner, though which NINJAGO sets will be offered has not been confirmed. There will be two winners per category (mech, dragon, vehicle) for the Master of Spinjitzu and the Master of Destruction in each category.

A new wave of LEGO NINJAGO sets is launching next month, positioning them as the most likely candidates for contest prizes. Here's a reminder of the LEGO NINJAGO models releasing on January 1, 2026.
