The LEGO Group has outlined its plans for LEGO NINJAGO's 15th anniversary celebrations, including a second Fortnite update and fan events.
Following a teaser video for NINJAGO's 2026 plans, the LEGO Group has now revealed in more detail what we can expect to celebrate 15 years of NINJAGO this year. “As we celebrate 15 years of LEGO NINJAGO, we’re incredibly proud of how this universe has developed and inspired creativity, resilience, and adventure for fans around the world," said Nigel Kong, Head of Product at the LEGO Group.
"We are also endlessly thankful for our fan community, who continues to engage with the NINJAGO universe. This anniversary is not just a celebration for us, it’s for our fan community – whether a lifelong or new fan, now is the time to go full ninja! 2026 marks the beginning of an exciting new era for the franchise.”
This new era is starting with everything from more NINJAGO in Fortnite to fan events and even a board game, now with a release date. Read on for the full rundown of the newly-confirmed NINJAGO anniversary plans, including more details on celebrations teased not long ago.
LEGO NINJAGO 15th anniversary livestream
The LEGO Group is kicking things off with a livestream celebrating all things NINJAGO over on YouTube, which will begin at 2pm GMT on January 14 and run continuously for seven days. The stream will apparently feature 'episodes, fan clips and much more'.
Second LEGO NINJAGO Fortnite update coming soon

After teasers sent to influencers and some mysterious content spotted in-game, a second NINJAGO update for LEGO Fortnite is now officially confirmed. A release date has not been confirmed beyond some time in 2026, but the first update brought new things to Odyssey including four outfits based on the core ninjas.
Ninjago Destiny’s Bounty Adventures details confirmed
The LEGO Group and Asmodee are launching a new cooperative family board game later this year. NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty Adventures is designed to bring friends and families together and lets players team up as ninjas to defend the iconic ship Destiny’s Bounty from a host of villains. The game will be available from July 30, 2026, and comes with an exclusive Nya ZX minifigure.

Season 4 of NINJAGO: Dragons Rising
The fourth season of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising has been confirmed for release later this year, with an earlier teaser revealing a forest location, the return of Euphrasia, and more.
A 'new, unexpected and unparalleled narrative'

Also teased for the ongoing NINJAGO narrative is a new and unexpected story that promises plot twists aplenty. This may align with a mysterious animated project spotted in the earlier teaser video, but they are not confirmed to be connected.
NINJAGO Days at LEGO Stores

The LEGO Group has confirmed more stores that will host NINJAGO Days this weekend. This includes the Barcelona and München Zentrum stores on January 17. The stores in Paris, Amsterdam, Leicester Square, Fifth Avenue, Mall of America, Nebraska Crossing and West Edmonton will host the event on January 17 and 18. NINJAGO at fan events in 2026

The LEGO Group will be participating in fan events throughout 2026, starting with Brickvention Australia in Melbourne on January 17 and 18. You can see a render of the booth for the show pictured above, while below are a make and take build and anniversary coin that will be available at the event.

Anniversary celebrations at LEGOLAND resorts

LEGOLAND resorts worldwide will host NINJAGO anniversary events in the form of the new NINJAGO Celebrations. You can expect live shows, costumed characters, giveaways and hands-on build experiences, alongside the return of scavenger hunts and immersive 4D movies. Many LEGOLAND parks also feature the NINJAGO land and ride to expand the offerings.
NINJAGO Celebrations will be at LEGOLAND Japan from January 31 to March 15, LEGOLAND Korea from March 21 to May 31, and then at both LEGOLAND Germany and Windsor from March 28 to April 12. The existing NINJAS UNITE event is coming to LEGOLAND California and Florida on weekends from January 17 to February 16 instead of NINJAGO Celebrations.
